Piedmont alumni are committed to supporting the school following their graduation and life at the school. Many alumni provide support by donating their time, money, and energy. Many alumni also enjoy maintaining relationships even after moving away to college. We have created this web page to help in those efforts.
Darton College Cavalier baseball player and Piedmont Academy alumnus, Michael Davis (’15) played Gulf Coast Community College located in Panama City, Florida to kick off their 2016 season. #31 Davis came in as the relief pitcher in the 9th inning of their 4th game. He went on to pitch three shut-out innings, 9th, 10th, and 11th to capture his first collegiate win and the teams’ first win of the season. A solo home run in the top of the 11th inning gave Darton the lead. Davis pitched three up and three down in the bottom of 11th to secure the win. The final score was 3-2. Davis was honored when he received the game ball. Darton College is located in Albany, Georgia.

Trisha (82')and Beth(79') signed over 1,700 booTks Sunday afternoon. She spoke to each one and had lots and lots of pictures taken with her fans. One of Piedmont’s K5 students presented her with a hand written thank you card to thank the two sisters for providing the school’s awesome playground. The student told her, “I like the slides the best.” Trisha and Beth were very moved by the thank you.
Sam McMichael, member of the Class of 2004, stopped by the school to donate a framed picture of a Cougar and visit with faculty and staff. Sam has been in the United States Air Force for seven years and is stationed at Edwards AF Base in California. He is a mechanic on the F-22 fighter jet. While in Ms. Davis’ classroom, students in her sixth grade study hall enjoyed asking him about his career and duties.
Leigh Hicks, a 2012 graduate of Piedmont Academy, recently visited Ms. Elizabeth Davis’ eighth grade English class to share information about her career. Ms. Hicks originally enrolled in Georgia Perimeter College but later transferred to Georgia Piedmont Technical College, where she earned both a CNA and an EMS degree. She is currently employed almost directly across the street from the school at the local fire/rescue station. This local business provides both fire protection and EMS services. Ms. Hicks encouraged the students to consider a job in the medical field because it is exciting, challenging, and rewarding. She also shared some of her work situations in which her training he
